i wish my pediatrician did this earlier! it wasn’t until i was 18 that i was finally listened to about my extreme fatigue. turns out my ferritin was at a 2, likely causing most of my symptoms. after 2 years and failed treatments, i got three rounds of iron infusions. glad this screening is now put in place!
