De hecho sí hay una explicación científica xd lo que pasa es que la densidad de m³ de agua es más pesada. Mientras que en Inglaterra lo máximo es 65 m³, en la CDMX puede llegar hasta más de 135 m³ de agua. En Inglaterra, lo más común son las lloviznas, lo que aquí llamamos "chispear", por lo cual se percibe que llueve más tiempo allá que aquí porque cuando llueve literalmente se cae el cielo

I understand what you mean. In England, what you call rain is what we call drizzle here—a very light rain. In England, you can usually keep going out and walking even when it's raining. In Mexico, though, the raindrops are much bigger and a lot more water falls. At least, that's been my impression from the times I've been there
