It’s also not uncommon for some Americans to have never been on a plane bc you can literally drive from state to state

I’ve been to around 30 european countries. There’s almost no AC, not even in stores or restaurants!!! The service in restaurants are actually terrible, and the prices in restaurants are actually MORE expensive than in the US even if you include tip and tax in the US, and you end up getting like 1/3rd the food you would get in the US. The only way to get AC in European countries, is to book at an American Chain Hotel such as the Hilton. And for someone that loves to chat with others, a lot of places in European countries will ignore you.

Most Americans won’t travel until they’re adults. We can’t afford to. People underestimate how far and expensive it is to travel from the US.

Most of us don’t leave because we can’t afford to travel, I love my country and it’ll always be my home but I’d love to travel to a couple other countries just to experience it
