@black.campus.ms: Leland, Mississippi never left these classmates and they never left Leland. Coach turned council member turned justice court judge, still choosing second chances over hard lines for his community. Cedric and his wife took over the old Leland Cafe, the same building Black families once had to enter through the back, now theirs to run through the front door. This is what integration was supposed to build. Not just access to a classroom, but a generation coming home to teach, coach, judge, and lead the district that raised them. Mississippi HBCU pride runs through stories like this, the same spirit that shows up in homecoming season, yard culture, and Divine 9 legacy work, people pouring back into the communities that shaped them. Same classmates, same hometown, now the ones holding it down. #MississippiHBCU #BlackLeadership #HomecomingSeason #YardCulture #CommunityFirst
