As a nurse I can say she did an excellent job. Urgency doesn't equal panic. She stayed calm and she did what needed to be done while assessing that the scene was safe for her. She saved this guy's life.

I get this a lot as a nurse when emergencies are happening, family members thinking we don’t care because we are calm. I don’t understand why people would want first responders to be flipping out? What kind of confidence does that instill? People who deal with emergencies all the time do not flip out, they are calm and methodical.

“Slow is smooth, smooth is fast”. So much talk about lack of urgency and retraining when first responders are trained to walk, not run, and to remain calm and precise. Talking about suing someone for remaining steady, aware, and calculated while saving someone’s life is a crazy take.
