@eugeneeats: A little local food crawl through Nha Trang 🇻🇳 Nha Trang is known for a lot of seafood based dishes, so I had to try bún cá sứa. It is a noodle soup with jellyfish, tuna, fish cake, and a light fish broth. I can see why people like it, but this one was not really my style. I think I prefer jellyfish cold and tuna raw, so the texture and flavor in soup form just did not fully hit for me. The bánh căn, those small savory rice flour pancakes cooked in little round molds. They were nice and comforting, but I wish the batter had a little more seasoning. The toppings and sauce helped, but the pancake itself felt like it needed a bit more flavor. The nem nướng was easily one of the better bites. You build it into a wrap with grilled pork, herbs, vegetables, rice paper, and crunchy bits, so every bite had something going on. Fresh, crunchy, and really fun to eat. But the chả giò was probably my favorite. These were huge, almost like extra large Vietnamese spring rolls, and they came out super crispy and full of flavor.
