as a fellow ocd girlie and a therapist, I would just recommend that you be careful with not compulsively decorating things “just right” if that makes sense. the analysis paralysis can be real! you’re doing amazing and are such an inspiration <3

A tip about decorating - it’s never really “done” you can rearrange and tweak and change things at any point! So don’t feel like you need to get to a “finish line”, it’s ok if it’s not perfect immediately!

to give you some exposure to adding new things in your house why dont you try getting some flowers in a vase, keep them till they start to die, and just get new ones. you feel the feeling of getting rid of something but when you buy new ones, you feel proud for getting something new. and change it up sometimes, different colors and different flowers each time.

i think something like a candle warmer or a plant or two would loook great here! i feel it would balance out the space and make it look less awkward. plus, it’s probably safer than actually lighting a candle where you have it now

sooooo cute. i think my advice would be to STOP! you’ve got the basics you need, and now you can add to your space if you come across something you really love or really need. i think if you go too far too fast you might get overwhelmed. this is now a healthily decorated minimalist space. maybe the only thing that I would add would be a nice big standing lamp to go beside your couch. but it looks so good!!!

I don’t think you need to add anything right now. I’d recommend living with what you have for a while and see what you like about it or dislike. Slowly start curating some good pieces 🥰

so so cute!!! def recommend getting some bigger pillows to kind of layer behind the printed one, def don’t light the candle under the tv (my mother in law melted the bottom of a tv once for doing that LOL) amazon sells little narrow cute side tables that you can put next to the couch too! maybe add some curtains (ceiling to floor height) to add a little more coziness!

This is what I did in the corner of my kitchen! I have a little lamp that is always on (plugged in behind cutting board), dog treat jar, and a little spice jar. It’s practical and cute!

looks great! happy for u girl, no offense but i saw u declutter ur bedroom that had nothing in it once and as a recovering maximalist i was kinda horrified haha. all of it is cute and cozy only comment is that i would do a little table centerpiece with that candle like on a tray with other pieces of decor 🫶
