This analysis works best searching by zip codes. City Birmingham also stretches up hwy 280 and out towards Leeds and some parts of Hoover.

they can't give Centerpoint homes away. I live in Moody and 200k is on the low end now. I'll never get out of my old house I rent from my parents. I wish for a market overhaul where there's options for everyone to buy a house.

Birmingham really means the greater Birmingham metro. Most people who “live” in Birmingham live in a different city (Hoover being a very large one, but there are MANY)
