I’ve had my fair share or “well, I won’t do THAT again” moments... sucks. And it’s tough when there’s a whole industry whose target market is creative people with enthusiasm for their own projects 🤷♂️

I contact a well known marketing company. They quoted $1,600 which I was willing to pay if it actually worked, but I started asking which influencers they contact, which blogs, how many clips per page did they get, how many books sold. They told me they don’t collect that data. So glad I didn’t pay for it.

It's definitely a struggle. People I know want copies of my books, but I'm too nice to charge them or sell them for basically pennies. I don't even bother hustling anymore. I write YA novellas and give them to the library at the school where I work. Keep at it. You're young and you have the drive.
