— Winter stared at the hiring paper in her hands, Then at the house in front of her. She had expected a normal house, maybe a garden and a swing in it, But nothing could have ever prepared her from the fact that she'll stand on a clean stone pathway and a house big enough to qualify as a mansion. She gulped. She thought of backing out, but the amount of salary offered flashed in her mind—giving her courage. The money was enough to last her 4 months. With that, she took a deep breath and stepped in front of the door—knocking gently. — She expected a butler—or maybe a maid. But the moment the door opened, she had suddenly forgotten how to breathe. Standing in front of her was a beautiful woman—a very, very beautiful woman. Then, her eyes shifted to the little girl beside her, she looked just like her mother. “G-Good afternoon, I'm Winter Kim, the woman you talked to yesterday.” “Ah, Ms. Kim.” The woman then held out her hand, “Pleasure to meet you, my daughter's been all energetic after she found out you will be babysitting her.” Winter accepted the handshake, “I'm glad to know that, Mrs…” “Ms. Yu.” Karina cut her off, “I'm divorced.” The latter immediately bowed. “I didn't know, I-I'm sorry..” Karina just smiled at her, “It's fine, I didn't tell you anything.” Winter nodded. — Minji's been staring at Winter for awhile now, Not because she's really pretty—she really is. And before she could make an excuse to go to the bathroom, Minji sat on her lap. “Ms. Winter, I'm sleepy..” “I..” She looked at Karina, only to find the woman already staring at her with love eyes. “Okay..” — Minji fell asleep not even a minute after, Or rather, pretending to be.
