I put my items on the belt the way I want them bagged frozen, meat. cans, etc with bread and eggs last and they STILL will put bread in a bag with cans 😳

I don’t understand why they pile everything as fast as they can on my tiny counter. And expect me to have it all bagged and sorted perfectly when I barely have room to scan. And every bit of space I make they pile more stuff. And on top of it don’t take their full bags. So I’ll have bagging area full, bagged items on counter plus non scanned items.

especially at my store when i’m checking them out and they point out the sensors on the clothes or say “this has one” yes i know. i’m looking at it. plus ive been at this store over three years i think i know how to look for a security tag….

oooooh it grinds my gears when people refuse to bag their own shit and then nitpick how you do it… or watch you like a hawk with a hyper critical eye as if i haven’t been doing this for years!!! like GODDD do it yourself then!!!!

when customers start dictating and being nitpicky about how i pack their bags, i just finish the bag im packing and don't bag the rest. i'm not dumb, ive been doing this long enough to know how to pack a grocery bag.

in a job where you’re expected to please customers, its those customers that make it feel impossible to do so. If you want full control over bagging your groceries go to self checkout, otherwise let me do my literal job that I’ve trained for and be on your way 😁

Same with people who do the online grocery orders if you're so picky about the way you wanted your items then why didn't you come in the store yourself same with people who complain about wait times it'll take a whole lot more than the 5-10 mins you wait in the car for us to bring out your shit than it will to go in and get it yourself have some patience
