not a Mainer. and I feel terrible about the situation you're in. but politically it's so muddy. platner was a choice against Collins but also the establishment. and I can't see how Maines political left won't be split at election time. this is a mess all around.

I think you spoke on this so well Meredith. keeping these two things separate is understandable. we need to focus on what to do next. and that is to look at who will replace him and support them. I truly hope that Troy is who they pick as he filed the paperwork for it. and I believe he may be the best bet at this time against Susan.

I love that you shared your feelings, and I know that it is hard to do so on something so polarizing. You've got such incredible integrity, and while I am a Rhode Islander, I appreciate you as a fellow New Englander and a human on this planet. Bravo, Meredith!

I’m not in Maine, so I’m removed from this whole situation, but I just want to say thank you for this video. You made your point so clearly and kindly and I hope people hear you and act accordingly. Never stop being you!

I'd like him to step down and stay away from any spotlight. He championed a great platform and had his 15 minutes. I have always been frustrated by his background and the fact that so much was excused in his very concerning past. I hope that we can pivot adequately but I have serious concerns about the likelihood of success going forward.

I find it so intriguing that people say they want good things but don’t want to work together. Truly if everyone just took a step back and worked together they’d get somebody in there but egos are too big it seems like.

As a Californian this was exactly what I said to Swalwell. “If you have any integrity at all you will step down.” I appreciate your message.

I was not surprised at the latest. Sad. Was only voting 4 him to boot Collins. After Bernie asking him to withdraw - I’m hopeful but this guy might not do the right thing.

Am I understanding correctly, are you saying that you have known about the accusations long before they were publicized and you said nothing?

📝 Ingredients 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 🌿 Creamy Herb Sauce 2 tbsp butter 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup heavy cream ½ cup chicken broth ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley ½ tsp black pepper Salt to taste 🥔 Creamy Mashed Potatoes 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed 4 tbsp butter ½ cup heavy cream ¼ cup sour cream ½ tsp garlic powder Salt and black pepper to taste 🥕 Glazed Carrots 1 lb baby carrots 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp honey ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp dried thyme Salt and black pepper to taste 🌿 Garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Fresh thyme leaves Freshly cracked black pepper 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the potatoes for 15–18 minutes until fork tender. Drain and mash with butter, heavy cream, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Cover and keep warm. 2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. 3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Transfer to a plate. 4. Reduce the heat to medium. Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, thyme, and black pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens into a creamy consistency. 5. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the herb cream sauce over each piece. Simmer for another 4–5 minutes until the chicken is fully coated and heated through. Stir in the chopped parsley. 6. While the chicken simmers, melt the butter in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the baby carrots and cook for 6–8 minutes until tender. Stir in the honey, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper, cooking for another 2–3 minutes until the carrots are glossy and lightly caramelized. 7. Divide the mashed potatoes among serving plates. Add the creamy herb chicken and spoon plenty of the sauce over the chicken and potatoes. Serve with the glazed carrots and garnish with fresh parsley, thyme leaves, and cracked black pepper. 🔥 Cooking Tips * Sear the chicken until deeply golden before flipping to lock in juices and build flavor for the sauce. * Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the smoothest, creamiest herb sauce. * Let the mashed potatoes rest for a few minutes after mashing for an extra fluffy, velvety texture. Save this for later ❤️ #chickenrecipes #DinnerIdeas #familydinner #homecooking #creatorsearchinsights
