Here’s a little scenario I like to play around with when people talk about “God giving” versus “God letting” someone have something. Just because God knows that someone gave a child cancer. It doesn’t mean God let that child have cancer, let alone God gave that kid cancer. Just the same just because someone commits a crime in secret. It doesn’t mean God made that happen. And the result of that person‘s free will is either repent’s to Christ. Or he will be judged on judgement day.
