I was able to incorporate a nicer version of the airing of grievances from the festivus episode of Seinfeld! basically once per quarter for a week, or whenever, people write down ways in which people or other departments negatively affect their department. then we turn those complaints into methods to cross train

okay genuinely amazing. also I just want to add that when I have talked to management about things that suck and it's something that I find out that they genuinely can't change or they can honestly give me an answer as to why the thing has to be done that way then I feel better about it.

in my job, the "what sucks" are almost exclusively all decisions made by the owner that cannot be overturned by anyone but the owner 😭

I worked for a company that had a F*ck It Bucket, where throughout the year employees would write down funny/odd/weird things that happened or were said - by us or customers & put it the bucket (it was a cookie jar). At the end of the year, we’d order pizza and beer and read them out loud. It was so much fun!!
