This show was my favorite when I was young, anticipating the next episode, and now still is my favorite at 31. I woke up to spirituality back in 2019 and since then, rewatching it now, you can’t help but just be amazed at how so far advanced it is, especially since it’s considered a kids show. It speaks on so much and teaches you life lessons. Finding yourself, your true self. How choosing love and peace is so much stronger than hate and resentment. Staying strong no matter what life throws at you. Speaking your truth, and standing on it. I could go on and on.

At 12, this man was carrying the fate of the whole damn world on his shoulders 😭. He literally woke up from a 100-year coma and couldn't even catch a break because the entire world was expecting him to end a war. And people still call him “12” like being 12 somehow means the trauma doesn't count. 😭 He could've packed his things, said “y'all are on your own,” and disappeared, and nobody could've blamed him. But instead, he stayed and took on a responsibility that no child should've had to carry. 😂 The Best Avatar Ever !

People think me having my favorite character be Aang is silly. “Oh of course you like the main character” but they don’t get the strength of character that this 12 year old child has to not only stick with ideals while overcoming the pain of losing his entire people and doing it while smiling and making sure everyone is safe, even his enemies. He is the best of us and I strive to have a fraction of the good that floods his soul.
