my mom did this on purpose, she saw the reviews and said i was being dramatic and that you cant trust reviews but every positive review you could trust. she tried to send me at 11-12 and talked with them for a year until i was 13, she sent me with a 2 day notice and she said she 'was figuring out a way to tell me' which then escalated to an 'i was never going to tell you but drop you off in the middle of nowhere'. i have head fractures, stomach issues, mobility issues, severe cognitive decline, ptsd, likely a fracture that was never checked, 🍇, and tbi's from 'treatment' at those places. she provides for me now, a phone and tv and such - but i wont ever forgive her for what she did and WILL be cutting contact at 18. im sorry, i know this video is about you i do not mean to take the spotlight i apologize, do you see my point of view?

Just came across my page. My 16 year old is in residential treatment right now, ordered by a judge. I totally understand your take on this… I love him so much, it’s so hard on both ends. These last couple of years have been SO hard.

I'm 35 now and was put into treatment at 19. I still hide who I am now and still have PTSD from treatment. im so sorry that you're dealing with this, too

I was in a program in 2015 as well, and now at 28, I'm only just now really starting to actually connect to my emotions again. I never graduated my program (dad helped me escape), but ig I didn't need to for their tactics to still be effective.🤍🤍 I hope you're doing better now!!

I am sorry this happened to you. you should have had a safe home. every child deserves that. have you heard about EMDR. it is a therapy that helps you process your traumas. it is the only thing that was affective for me.

I don’t understand why people think a short term stay at anywhere ever can heal you. It may be the start of something sure, but sometimes not even that and people feel guilt and shame that it didn’t work and it’s messed up.
