I went through this... they moved the goal post from resisting arrest to resisting detention because you can be detained without reason

on paper your right, but in real life it did happen and I did go to jail, and at the police station they changed the charge from evading arrest to evading detention when the other cop asked what I was getting arrested for and it was just the evading

I was in Texas once I was taking my parents to go see my uncle who was dying I was driving got off on the exit the Davy Crockett town I got off I was going to go to dairy Queen changed my mind, I went up to go to the freeway the police were rushing by and I said who is he chasing and apparently he was chasing me he came from the other direction I was ready to get on the freeway he hurried and turned around and got me and I said I was doing nothing wrong we spent I don't know how much time he treated me like I was a drug mule or something he tried to say all sorts of things about me he thought I didn't have my my safety build on I always do I'm the safest one I always do this he just took so long like I was doing something terrible it was an officer with a ton of hair on his chest. he just didn't want to believe me I showed him I said yeah what I showed him I said no look here he just didn't believe me I told him what we were doing where we were going he didn't want to hear it I didn't know how else to convince him I said mother father Yes she has her thing on it was so bizarre and aggressive and then he was demanding he got me out of the car he wanted he took me behind the car he then wanted me to open the trunk I was so confused because literally we're going to see my uncle who's dying he didn't care so I opened the trunk he's looking in it I said these are our suitcases you know you etc and then he kept questioning me like I was part of something nefarious I don't know and he just kept questioning me and he was demanding and then he went back to me not having my seatbelt on but I actually did I always do it was so crazy he just kept going on and on finally I said you know is I don't know what I finally said but more or less it moved us on I could shut the trunk then he took me back around and I sat there and was so confused I didn't really know what he was doing and he just kept going on he didn't believe me finally he let us go.....
