Omg Im nowhere, i mean NOWHERE near these guys in terms of skills but as someone who have also competed in tournaments before i also feel the same way! And i really thought it was because im not that good at it. It was a love-hate relationship. Like i lovee chess so much that I thought about chess even in sleep and when I see a chessboard somewhere i instinctively have the urge to play, but I also hate losing so much and hate the pressure in a tournament. Its like when you think you are good enough (when you became a champion), you go to the next level there will always be people better than you and you feel like you have to train more to always be better. And that feels terrible overall
