one thing I've also noticed about white men who are self proclaimed conservatives (i live rural its impossible to not be ingrained in that community) is that they are fairly close to leftist values just packaged wrong. My tactic for trying to steer their bigotry and hatred towards woman and minorities and to the systems deserving of that hatred is to listen and ask questions in good faith. Not in a liberal way where I accept these opinions but in a way that challenges their own arguments. Alot of these men are mad at the state of their world but dont dig deep enough to understand why and who to be mad at but once you help them dig in they may surprise you. ive only successfully helped change the mind of 2 of my freinds but its a damn good start id say.
