To everyone saying that Argentina deserved to win simply because they scored multiple goals in a short period of time... Let's not forget that Egypt scored in the first half. Then, in the second half, Egypt had another goal ruled out after a VAR review, and about 10 minutes later scored again. That alone proves Egypt was also capable of scoring multiple times in a short span. The match was still alive, and Egypt was very much in it. Even if Egypt made mistakes that allowed Argentina to score quick goals, that does not justify controversial refereeing decisions, nor does it mean Egypt should have been denied key decisions that could have changed the outcome. From my point of view, the match included: An Egyptian goal ruled out after a VAR review. A penalty not awarded to Mohamed Salah immediately before Argentina's third goal, with no VAR review. A controversial foul called against Salah while he was through on goal. Hamdy Fathy's shirt being pulled until it was torn inside the penalty area, with no penalty awarded. A dangerous challenge just outside Argentina's penalty area with no foul given. A reckless challenge on Haitham Hassan with no yellow card. Contact with Egypt's goalkeeper that went unpunished. Off-the-ball incidents against Egyptian players. An obvious imbalance in disciplinary decisions, with Argentina finishing the match without a single yellow card. Hossam Hassan receiving a yellow card after reporting racist abuse instead of the incident being properly addressed. I have no problem accepting defeat when the better team wins. But I do have a problem when controversial refereeing decisions appear to play a major role in determining the outcome. Football deserves consistency. Every team deserves the same application of the Laws of the Game, regardless of its name or reputation.

Look bro Egypt you didnt get robbed ref was actually flawless. J. Alvarez goes down he cant call for the ref and the ref cant listen to the Argentina players because he has to focus on the game. That’s why after the play is stopped goal/freekick/out whatever they talk to him to get it checked and he checks it. And the so called penalty by Mac. Allister is never a penalty he is just holding the players collar. Not tugging on it not anything he was maybe looking to make a penalty if the guy had crossed it into him and then Mac allister would have probably roughed him back. But the egyptian player falls by himself if you watch closely and he sells it by falling forward when he should fall backwards. Flawless ref.
