Different parts of the valley have different energy… just like the Westside different areas/ different energy, but in general people are more chill & the beach and oh so much cooler Love the west side & more diversity .

The valley is the most boring place I’ve ever lived. Born and raised in NY, moved to west LA and was there for 20 years. Moved to the valley 8 years ago and it sucks!

I used to have a house in Sherman Oaks…and it was lovely. Then I bought a house in West LA (Western Culver City) and being able to ride my bike to the beach in 12 mins is such a better vibe!

having grown up in the valley i couldn't wait to get out. have lived in culver city about 11 years and absolutely love it. walk every day, cycle to the beach, and about 20-30 minutes from every corner of la county id want to visit

I lived in LA (Santa Monica) for 12yrs and go back often. I loved it. 3 blocks from the beach. I’d walk to the promenade or Montana Ave. Eat. Movies. Coffee shops. Beach walks. You should try Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee on Wilshire… so good! Huckleberry is a great breakfast/lunch spot too!
