I cried a lot but keep going! Even if you have to supplement with formula some days. Your body is doing something so AMAZING for your baby. Make sure you eat, stay hydrated, and give yourself grace :-)

pumping and feeding is hard!!! if baby is able to latch try!!! if not, pump every 2 hours around the clock, and make sure baby is properly pace fed. 1 to 1.5 oz an hour max 4 oz bottles. you got this!!

Eat! Eat all the food and drink all the coconut water and body armor. Also, you don’t have to forever but for the next few days pump a lot. Like do the hour power pump, pump for 15 min here and there. Even if you don’t get anything, pump

No matter what you do, don’t give up! Pump 2-3 hours around the clock, stay hydrated and make sure you’re fueling your body. At 3 weeks I was pumping 20oz a day, I’m 3 months pp now and I’ve been consistently pumping 50oz a day for over a month now!

Invest in a portable pump. I have the eufy S1 pro. It is just as strong as my plug-in pump. I didn’t think that I would be able to pump with my third (I have two toddlers) but the portable pumps make it possible. I pump while I feed the baby or do my household chores. It really helps and is worth the investment.

My son has a milk allergy and if I didn't pump, formula would cost 180 a week.
While I was on leave I pumped every 3-4 hours like clockwork and made sure I got in lots protein. My peek I was doing 36-40oz a day. Now that I'm back at work I pump 3-4 times a day and I average 25-28oz a day and we supplement with formula so we could rebuild the freezer stash after I got rid of the stash that had dairy.

Just keep going, and don’t beat yourself up if you miss a few sessions. I’m in week 6 of pumping on demand for my NICU baby

Lots of great advice in here, however, I learned if it’s tanking your mental health, don’t push it. It’s not worth the mental struggle!!

If you want to boost milk supply you have to latch the baby. Thats the best way you’re going to increase your supply.

I’m in the same boat but right now I’m pumping 2-3 xs a day with getting about 2-3 oz of milk each time. I eat these lactation granola bars and drink body armor to stay hydrated. Give it time and don’t stress love! Our Pediatrician said combo feeding has great benefits and our girl gained a lb since birth and she’s 2 weeks now! Your mental health is so important for EP too! ❤️You’re doing amazing!

Are you using the pump in your profile picture? I hated that pump. I’ve used both the MaxFlow and Pro and could hardly get anything I would also get sized flanges over inserts. Are you pumping 8-12 times a day and doing a power pump?

I’m EPing too and I’ve found Liquid IV, a steak here and there (when we can afford it) oatmeal crème pies, sleep (when you can snatch it), literally eating everything, 4am pumps, and pumping every 3 hrs has helped me. Also, fridge method those pumps!

Oatmeal, lots of water, and pump every time the baby eats. 3hrs. I just make it my goal to fill up a bottle by the end of the day

I pumped every two hours, drank electrolytes, ate tons of protein & oats. If you can’t sit down to pump, get a good set of wearables to use until you can sit down for a walk pump session. I love the Eufys and got the same output with them as my spectra.
