Have you ever seen a Gradall used for anything other than sidewalk demo work like this? My company has one with an excavator stick and bucket attachment at the end and have never seen it used and can’t imagine what it would be for.

Do you run Gradall controls, or switch to ISO?

Graduall is the best machine ever made, the only problem is there's not to many that like to operate them. I think it's because your always on the move and not just kicking back watching tick tokens for 80hr..... LOL.

the discution gradall vs excavator will never end I guess. Gradall probably excellent for the tasks needed doing.
But i can't unnotice the reduced overview/ field of view with the straight boom, compared to an excavators boom and stick. interesting machine tho.

Ahhh shit Gradall’s are awesome. I ran one many summers ago. Me and my boss found one in Galveston. Old machine, late 90’s I assume. It had a 5.9L and an 8.3L, which is the only reasons we were originally interested in it, was to pull the engines. It was a “if you can get it running” type of deal. After about $1500 in parts and batteries, we got it cranked, drove it home on a hope and a prayer. Instead of salvaging it, we ended up getting it fully operational after changing a few hydraulic lines and electronics. Damn good machine, had a lot of fun running it. During the Hurricane Harvey cleanup, I used it to pack entire single and double wide mobile homes into rolloffs… the movers hated seeing me. I’d pack them things in there. I could fit an entire single wide home into 1 roll off container 😂
