Every event i performed at, (almost) every field trip, concerts, award days, non-family trips, EVERYWHERE 🤣. I remember being embarrassed because it was always "Tay, there go yo daddy!" Dude in the cut with a camcorder 😂. I thought folks were jokin', so i hated it. Took me years to realize they were happy to see him too and how blessed I was to have my parents

My dad use to be with me so much that when I would go to football and basketball games in high school or go the state fair the boys would be so scared to talk to me. My boyfriend was the basketball and football star and all the coaches knew who my daddy was because he would wait with me while I wait on my boyfriend after the games. My 1st date my dad was in the parking lot. 1st time a boy took me to the movies my dad was in the back row. It was like he was my body guard. He use to protect me before I even knew I needed to be protected. I am 42 now and we still talk on the phone everyday.
