The Prophet ﷺ said: “Wear white clothes, for they are among your best clothes, and shroud your dead in them.” — Sunan Abu Dawud & Tirmidhi And Allah ﷻ says: “From it We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again.” — Surah Taha 20:55 The shroud humbles the arrogant, crushes pride, and reminds every single one of us that this worldly life is temporary. One day, others will tie our shroud, carry us on their shoulders, and lower us into the grave.
