the thing is - akylas didn’t do it with ANY negative intentions. most ppl don’t even know the song’s creators, and if he knew the people, firstly, it’s hard to find out people’s political views for definite, secondly he might not have even known they were Russian. Thirdly, this is very important, just cause of theyre Russian doesn’t mean they are bad people, and yes if they do in fact support Russia’s actions, it’s awful, but it’s not widely known.

Not everything has to be about politics. All the Things She Said is an old song from 2003 that became famous all over the world long before the war. People listen to it because they like the music or because it means something to them, not because of the artists. If someone sings this song on stage and says it is important to them, not about the artist and that does not mean they support Russia or the invasion in Ukraine. Enjoying a song is not the same as supporting a country's actions. Art should bring people together, not divide them. If we start judging every song by where it comes from, we lose the real meaning of music. Criticize governments if you want, but dont attack people just because they sing a song. That's my message to Ukrainians, stay safe.

that song has gone viral way before we even knew the band was Russian, I personally only knew after someone told me in 2022. Also idk if Im wrong but one member of tatu is aganist the war, the other is not but I only knew about their stances after a Google search
