@allenbew: I really like it when an actor's real-life injury is written into the script instead of being hidden. In this case, a young Polish actor Maciej Tomaszewski playing in the TV series Na Wspólnej broke his ankle and had of course to wear a cast. Rather than trying to avoid showing it, the production embraced it, which added a lot of realism to the scenes. He handled it very well and showed that life doesn't stop just because you're on crutches or wearing a cast. There's nothing to be embarrassed about.
