They are looking to scrap council tax an call it land tax i believe...as they see council tax calculation and the way the VOA value/estimate the propertiesvalues and multipler are seen as as outdated by the government...

It will boost the market as all renters and land owners will be forced to sell and a straw that broke e camels back. As for the approach and how it will benefit people is zero the only people to benefit is the tax man. Also once sold people will reinvest into other property outside the uk and other things. This will eventually stall and brake the market. My thoughts only what do you think
