It's a single player game, play how you want I personally use it because I like to minmax floors and not having to walk around feels better. At the end of the day you do have to clear the rooms and have to walk to unclear rooms' doors

I feel like this should only be on certain characters or flying characters because obstacle rooms could probably just become irrelevant
