My gran was in her 80’s and nothing she loved more than buying pairs of Disney jammies, especially lion king — had she ever watched it …no, but she never let that stop her from wearing cute pjs. A paramedic saying to his colleague during my daughters seizure without realising I was in the hallway, she better snap out of that soon because I'm not putting my back out lifting that lump and laughing. Reported and nothing was ever followed through. There word against mine basically.

Same, I was 15, having seizures. My foster parents, teachers AND paramedics & doctors all said I was faking for attention & I was ‘mental’. I was diagnosed with FOUR types of epilepsy & a heart condition. But the damage of people talking to me like that & not believing me hit me hard man.

I’m 29 with epilepsy and I wear Disney pjs 🫶🏼 worn a fox and hound set when I was taken to hospital recently! I wouldn’t wear anything else, Disney is my safe space! Don’t let them make you feel ashamed for being you 💜 you’re amazing ✨
