I think it’s very cute how people ever thought that saving to a separate save slot on the same copy of the game on the same computer/device wouldn’t affect the other save files. Like Undertale remembers what you do on a reset playthrough and you didn’t think tricky Tony would do anything like that again?

We might be cooked. I heard a theory back when chapter 2 came out that said there aren’t actually two routes/ending and instead the player will eventually be locked out of the regular route and be forced to do the weird route to progress the story, this combined with the fact it’s not called a route but instead side A and B really reinforce this theory.

it's probably because weird route will go straight to chapter 7 skipping 6 entirely, so if you go to chapter 7 while on the weird route there will be a save ready for you to play and it will probably look like this

Because you cant save there. The game needs to know if you finished chapter 5 weirdroute to continue the chapter 7 side b thing
