I can in fact confirm that almost everyone there is currently crashing out after the rece t AQ (found out thru my ex dottoscara shipper friends recently). If dottoscara shippers truly resent Dottolone for being the more acceptable between the two, they should really look into why. Dottolone had centuries to recover whatever interactions and relationship they had. These ships are unhealthy in their own ways, but Dottolone is not as toxic as whatever Dottoscara's dynamic is. I used to defend Dottoscara with MY LIFE in twitter and I can guarantee you EVERYONE is aware its a darkship.
