😭😭I teach this and it dribbles kids so much, some words take up their letter sounds and some use letter names😔 ALSO, ‘U’ is “ah” in the English letter sounds😭 we get oo from double o… ishhh, this is a bit confusing BUT trust me there’s an explanation for all of this😂🤞🏾

I know this is supposed to be a funny video neh but phonemic sounds have short and long vowels where “a” can sound as “a” for apple for short and “a” for acorn for long, “e” for elephant as a short vowel and “e” for eve as a long vowels…I hope this makes sense 🤣🤣🤣

I'm relearning English to teach my daughter phonic sounds and how to read. I'm only realising now the confusing details of the English language. The letter A alone has 4 or 5 sounds. Why?? And every vowel has 2 or more sounds. W and L usually changes the sound the letter A makes. OW has 2 (or more) different sounds. OU has 2 (or more) different sounds, etc. It's a lot
