Yunus :
Thank you for sharing your point of view. I’d like to offer my perspective as well. I think the situation is far more complex than simply labeling someone as a “narcissist” and the other person as an “empath.” Human relationships are influenced by many factors, including attachment patterns, personality, personal history, emotional needs, boundaries, and unresolved experiences.
There are psychological reasons why someone who is highly caring and tends to help others may become attached to someone who appears emotionally detached or self-centered. Sometimes people are drawn to qualities they feel they lack, while at other times familiar emotional patterns can make unhealthy dynamics feel strangely familiar or compelling.
I also believe that many aspects of life exist in tension with their apparent opposites: light and darkness, strength and vulnerability, giving and receiving. But I wouldn’t describe this as a universal law that determines who we attract. Human behavior is much more complex than that.
What I do believe is important is self-awareness. If we repeatedly experience the same unhealthy patterns in relationships, it is worth looking inward and asking what we can learn, what boundaries we failed to establish, what needs we were trying to fulfill, and what we can change going forward. That doesn’t mean blaming ourselves for someone else’s harmful behavior. It means recognizing the parts of our own lives that we actually have the power to change.
