One thing i would recommend is using just 1 word at first, for instance instead of “i want to go outside” just “outside” that way he doesn’t get overwhelmed or mix up words, or if he mands with 2-3 words already you could do “go outside”

this is so great mama! 🥹🤍 (unsolicited advice: Try pairing a visual next to the button too so that if he ever uses an AAC device he can generalize association at places like school, speech, etc.) but even this alone is so awesome! he’s so lucky to have parents like u guys. as a 5 yr RBT, this genuinely warms my heart🥺

hey momma. it may work better for you and him if you dont use your voice. I took and recorded what I wanted to say on here and then used a voice changer to a specific voice I felt matched them and then recorded it on a button as if it were their voice not mine.
