Regulatory clarity for XRP does not require the Clarity Act. The SEC and CFTC joint guidance, commodity classification through Bitnomial, and OCC support already provide the rules of the road institutions need to move forward. The Clarity Act matters for assets that still lack classification and for the broader tokenized economy. XRP already has what it needs. Waiting for legislation that may not pass until 2027 is not a prerequisite for institutional adoption of an asset that regulators have already provided guidance on.
