I was at 7 when the nurse told me we couldn’t do the peridural because it was too late, i almost fainted and finally thought if it’s inside, it needs to come outside 😭

there’s this whole thing about gradually increasing pain that makes it easier to tolerate. And each level of pain your endorphins increase to provide natural pain relief (to a certain point)
