I was a surrogate twice and also worked for an agency. This is simply not how it works and I guarantee this scene was filmed for dramatic effect. The surrogate can't just terminate whenever she wants to for whatever reason she wants to. When you agree to carry for somebody, both parties sign legal contracts before anything happens and this stuff is fully discussed and agreed upon via both parties. Everyone is fully aware of all the wishes and wants of both surrogate and intended parents when they meet because you should never match with someone who doesn't share your values. In my experience too, the standard usually is that a termination will only happen if the surrogate or the babies life was in danger too. Some alternatively go with no termination under any circumstance. It honestly varies because everybody's preferences vary. Usually termination of a twin in contract isn't standard either, and it's usually the Intended Parent that requests that to be put in the contract, not the surrogate. But again, the surrogate will have been matched with an Intended Parent who has the same preferences with that! Hopefully this makes sense and helps. To add though, there are BAD agencies out there who do NOT match appropriately. Although I doubt she went with an agency that would be like that. The bad ones are few and far between and usually smaller ones. She would have likely went with one of the large popular ones SoCal residents work with. They follow SEEDS guidelines. SEEDS is who upholds the ethical guidelines of surrogacy. My boss was the VP of SEEDS.

As someone who watch the show, before the surrogacy was a option for her, she wanted to get pregnant herself but her doctor told her that’s it was a high risk pregnancy for her to even carry it out, same thing happened to Kim she had two very risky pregnancy with her two kids she was pregnant with

You are out of line saying Khloe did this to preserve her body. She already carried her first baby and it was well documented Khloes doctors told her REPEATEDLY it wasn’t good for her to carry another one and how upset she was and that’s when she explored surrogacy.

They signed the contract if they didn’t read over the contract then that’s on them. There is a contract in place for situations like this so if you get a surrogate and you don’t read over the contract that you have with this person then that is on you not on them

You all are just not listening.... It's a surrogate. a surrogate has the rights to her own body just like Khloe chose not to become pregnant again. because God forbid, if their bodies change they only eat tuna and salad.... The decision should be with her attorney and the surrogate.
