This filter will not produce water even close to as pure as what you’re getting filled at a water station. You need to install an RO system if you want clean water or use a distiller. These types of filters only change the taste by removing chlorine but they don’t remove most of the contaminants found in tap water.

We did the same thing. Same company but 3 stage filtration. Maybe $140 on Amazon. Took me less than an hour to run everything and hook it up! But ours is strictly for drinking, cooking, or dogs. It’s amazing. 1st filter is good for 6 months, second filter is 24 months. Third filter is 12 months. They’re a great investment!

Why exactly did you put a filter on your sink just for peace of mind or is the water in your area actually dirty just curious because I have a countertop one mostly just because I’m concerned about the chemicals that might be in the water

Not sure your situation or your budget but highly recommend a reverse osmosis system! If you are a home owner or plan on owning a home when you get it purchase a whole house filter best purchase (besides my home lol) I have made!

Those are made for a prior water filter faucet and you connect it to the T connection. It’s not meant for a sink faucet. You will go through filters in about 2 weeks

These are great and easy to install, PLZ ensure that you allow the water to run for a while. Most filters need to be flushed out, also plz change your filters on time.

test your tap water from another sink with a TDS meter and then test it after the filter. some of these filters are a scam and they will add things to your water instead of taking them out. Personally I like sticking with carbon filters.

Check the tds on that water. As a plumber I always recommend Reverse osmosis, it’s slower but worth it

Should have gone with the 3 stage for drinking. This is okay for cooking and cleaning. I’d use an additional pitcher filter for best results
