no too woke at all lol, it's terrible it changes their migration patterns and routes and also puts them at incredible risk for injuries sustained from both the boats and the humans trying to touch them, we should be supporting smaller sustainable businesses who promise u a boat trip with the potential of seeing them, they respect their natural eating patterns and habitat and also will bring less people, these are wild animals living and breathing and don't owe us entertainment 🩵

I’ve been to nearly 70 countries and I’ve had so many incredible animal encounters all around the world. The whale shark tour I did in Mexico almost 15 years ago scarred me for life. Horrendous. So many boats surrounding them, guides where encouraging you to touch the whale sharks, and nobody cared that they weren’t wearing reef safe sunsceen. I’ve learned a lot since then and I now do an abundance of research before booking anything with animals.
