The 8th of July, 2026, marked 43 years since 5-year-old Caroline Hogg lost her life at the hands of a monster named Robert Black. •THIS IS A MEMORIAL POST TO REMEMBER THE VICTIM AND NOT THE OFFENDER. I'M GOING TO PUT HERE IN THE CAPTION WHAT HAPPENED, NOT TO BUILD NOTORIETY FOR BLACK BUT TO ENSURE THAT CAROLINE IS'NT FORGOTTEN • -if it comes out that people who know little Caroline or the other victims don't want them posted online then this post will of course be taken down!! -I'm also going to briefly mention the story and timeline here so if you don't wish to read what happened you don't have continue reading from here. On the 8th of July, 1983, 5-year-old Caroline went missing from a fairground near her home in Portobello, near Edinburgh, whom she was said to be seen holding hands with a man. He reportedly gave her money to go on rides and Caroline was seen leaving with him. Her b*dy was found in a ditch in Twycross ten days later.. Black was also responsible for the m*rders of: • 9-year-old Jennifer Cardy, who was abducted 1981. Her b*dy was later recovered in Ballinderry, outside Lisburn, County Antrim🕊️ •11-year-old Susan Maxwell, who was abducted in 1982 from Cornhill-on-Tweed in Northumberland🕊️ •10-year-old Sarah Harper, who was abducted by Black as she walked from her home to a corner shop in Morley Leeds. Her b*dy was later recovered in the River Trent in Nottingham..🕊️ •The attempted abduction of 15-year-old Theresa Thornhill in 1988 in Nottingham. She fortunately managed to escape with the help of her friend after Black attempted to drag her into a van. •A young girl in 1990, whom was abducted by Black, but was fortunately rescued after an individual noticed something wrong and contacted the police. The police pulled Black over when he drove back around and discovered the young girl stuffed in a sleeping bag in the back of the van.
