Dispatchers have to ask questions to keep the person is engaged, but at the same time, keep them engaged on the phone without causing additional stress to someone who is already having mental issues.

What is she supposed to talk about for 15 min and I’m sure that’s how long it actually takes to get the cops their gee what did you have for breakfast how was you night at work all she’s doing is keeping him on the phone and she’s doing an amazing job! I couldn’t imagine going home every night after taking those calls everyday and be able to keep their head together so good job to them!
