skipping passed the explanation of what "detailing" is!!! we all understand the process of detailing... if you had to do the entire vehicle over in mayo as you did a section on your video, you would see that that vehicle would indeed turn dull again if it come in contact with water on any liquid for hat matter guaranteed, so yes although you explaining detailing as a process your product has the same importance as it will help keep the shine you created with your "detailing" process, this comes from understanding the paint you working with and not just using detailing as an explanation...

so what do you do after you remove the clear coat? won’t that shiny paint now get damaged bc it’s not protected anymore?

If you got red off of it then it was a single stage paint or the clear coat was extremely thin or gone.

From a novice just trying to take care of my cars. How many times can this type of paint correction be done before layers of new paint are exhausted and you burn through the color?

I love that video. I have been telling people for years you could put dog crap on paint and as long as you have the right pad and technique, you can make it shine. Same thing I see in these videos where these guys claim there is a miracle product and they go to a junkyard and buff the hood of a car and shines. I have been explaining to people forever that it is about contact and friction and the chemical has nothing to do with it unless of course you were talking about heavy duty compounds and that’s sort of thing to remove deep scratches. Cool video cool point.
