in cycles or high level manipulation put your version of help on the table and not only will that person tell you its been done before but manipulators actually wait for your version of things so you can open doors for them that were locked and the best part you the help will then be silenced by the manipulators because of your mistake because who is going to take accountability then they will proceed to attack the person with you watching imagine knowing all this but instead of pushing back you have to sit still because now you have to absorb attacks because the help was never help they keep creating a different form of karma for you to absorb and all of them get to group up and claim the person abandoned them whole time the person had to absorb things in silence because of their help

Feeling called out but also was treated like absolute shit in a 29 year marriage anytime I asked for help. Had to fight for the little help I asked for and if I got it, there was always a strings attached. Including pressure for sex if he helped. Also growing up with a father who was irritated anytime we had needs. You don’t put people out. Working on accepting help but it has never felt safe to ask or take it.
