Kai is also Afro Latino himself. Lots of Hispanics don’t acknowledge Afro Latin or Afro Hispanic people ( specifically Haitians ) because they’re brown/dark skinned. It’s colorism. People don’t even want to acknowledge that Haitians are even Latin but they want to acknowledge Brazilians as Latin.
