Very smooth, only bc I too am fairly experienced with card tricks, I caught the move. He does a fake shuffle in the beginning and puts the smaller deck behind the larger deck, making it look like a full shuffle, then a bunch of fake cuts done very smoothly. The deck was prepped in the beginning, he’s just good at making it look shuffled
