@cleoabram: In Antarctica, you’re not allowed to pee on the ice. Not even when you’re hiking for hours! It’s so cold and dry that when it snows, it basically never melts, so it stacks up into layers of ice trapping air inside…and scientists drill ice cores to study that air and learn what the environment was like thousands of years ago So if you pee…it will get trapped in the ice too.
