Zimbabwean activist Bhekhimpilo Mbedzi (41) has appeared before the Beitbridge Magistrate's Court after being charged with inciting an unlawful gathering. Prosecutors allege that on 10 July 2026, Mbedzi uploaded a self-recorded Facebook video encouraging Zimbabweans to participate in planned demonstrations against Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, with protests reportedly scheduled for 31 July 2026.
