What sets it apart is the accommodation: bubble domes for stargazing, wooden tipis, Maori and Inuit-style tents, eco-lodges, and cottages on stilts with valley-view terraces, all built into the landscape rather than lined up like a standard holiday park. The bar and restaurant sit at the centre of it all, serving homemade food from local producers, with theme nights, live music and karaoke a couple of times a week. There's a heated pool with a paddling pool for kids, a free sauna, a fitness area, hiking trails to a small farm, and leatherwork and jewellery workshops. The Camino de Santiago passes a kilometre away, and the campsite sits right where the Corrèze, Lot and Dordogne meet, next to Collonges-la-Rouge itself, the red sandstone village that gave birth to the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" label.
