They fade!! I didn't do anything to prevent because I'm larger and have had stretch marks since I was like 8. I'm 20 months PP and I don't even notice them on my body anymore, unless I kind of move my skin around and look for them

They will fade! I had the DARKEST stretch marks on my boobs and they turned white a couple months post partum

They faded into white for me and can only see it when I’m tan. But the truth is I had to put so much work on to not look at my body as “scarred” from stretch marks. I don’t have to love them and I don’t hate them. It’s my body. I changed and continue to work on affirming the change of thought process that my stretch marks are just my body, not good or bad, they are just my body, just like my belly button is a part of my body.
